Introduction... Microsoft Longhorn

This month was quite busy due to my visit to Nairobi, Kenya. This African country is full of nature. The temperature is 18 deg. Centigrade. It is quite pleasant. I attended Print Pack exhibition there but I missed the visit to famous “ Masai Mara ” National Park. I was having lot of time there and thinking about Microsoft future operating system codenamed “ Longhorn”. They have changed it to “ Vista ”. Don’t believe this. This is the truth. Microsoft dropped the code name Longhorn, announcing the next version of its flagship Windows operating system which will be called Windows Vista.

The top software maker will release first of 2 test versions to developers and information technology professionals. The core idea around windows Vista is bringing clarity to user so they can focus on what matters most. Vista’s features will include better ways to visualize data such as seeing through windows which are stacked atop each other, more natural file organization and faster searching. If faster searching is achieved then you will not require Google desktop search separately. The operating system will also be designed to better protect computers against viruses and spyware.

4. Spyware – Just remove it

You may be knowing about them. But don't know how to remove it. Please note, many times, spyware and adware are more dangerous than the viruses. There are reports that 90% of the computers are affected by Spyware and Adware. These programs get installed on your computer and collect the personal information about you and your internet habits. Spyware sends the collected information to hacker over the internet so that hacker can take advantage of your personal information. If you are getting annoying popups means your computer is affected with Adware. Sometimes Spyware gets into your system along with the downloaded freeware or shareware programs. To avoid this, never download freeware or shareware from the unknown sites. They also enter the computer through the advertising used in some free software, such as a number of the peer-to-peer programs; this type of Spyware is known as Adware. Also some of the web sites install Spyware cookies on your hard drive when you visit them. While many cookies are completely harmless, others function like Adware and gather up details on the sites you visit, the passwords you use, and more. That is problematic for you.
